Puerto Rico #2

--Second blog of pictures in P.R. ---these ones are from when we were in Vieques at the villa.

the back patio at the villa down my the pool. up top is where we ate breakfast in the mornings at that cement table.

the stairs that lead to the water by the rocks at the back side of the villa.. at the bottom there is a little natural pool of the ocean water.

the side of the villa from the patio where we got married.

the view down the stairs that led up to our room, these stairs were in architectural digest once. the houses in Puerto Rico are often really colorful like this.

the view of the stairs from the hallway. with the little... tribal head carving thing. these stairs are so cool--except for when you are wet and slip down them, haha.

a picture I took in the bathroom mirror first thing in the mirror, as you can tell I just woke up---but at least my ring and nails look good.

the private beach at the villa.. we had a little fire right by the ocean down here one night.

the view from the deck of the pool, to the right you can see the stairs that lead down to the water.

our double-head outside shower.. when you showered out here, if it was raining you got showered by that too. haha

our bed at the villa, with Tim asleep in it, this bed was memory foam and was waaayy nice.

The view off of the left side of the deck of our room at the villa, the side the private beach was on.

the view from the right side. there was another villa on this side--which also had a private beach.

the view from our bed the first morning waking up ( : super nice to wake up to the ocean right in front of you.

Puerto Rico (post #1) -San Juan

This will be my first 'blog' about our trip to the amaazing Puerto Rico.. this entry will be our San Juan pictures with descriptions about all of them (:

This is a picture of me standing by the Lagoon that our hotel was on.. Our hotel was on that opposite side that you see across the lagoon.
Here is a picture of just one wall of graffiti in San Juan. It was everywhere.. houses, buildings, bridges.. literally EVERYWHERE.. & some of it was actually pretty good unlike anything you will see in Utah County. haha
This is Tim wearing the hat that a guy on the street made--- On our first day in San Juan we went walking all around and happened across this guy who was making this hat, a fruit bowl, and a couple of other things out of Palm Tree leafs. We thought this was awesome so we went up and started talking to him. We found out that his name was Rod, and that he had been in the Navy and was stationed in Puerto Rico and loved it so much that he decided to never leave. After talking to him for a while we decided to buy his fruit bowl because it was so awesome and because he was so interesting.. (well, and because we loved that he never once tried to get us to buy it which is rare for most people when tourists are running amuck) .. then we took a picture of Tim in the awesome hat he made.
This was a tree on the street in San Juan, we thought it was awesome because every layer of bark was a different color--we called them the "Rainbow Trees"..
This is a picture of me on the balcony of our hotel-- "El Canario by the Lagoon" with the Lagoon in the background.
This is the Ferry we were about to take from San Juan to VIEQUES! The "Vieques II"
Me standing on the beach in San Juan with our fruit basket(:
Tim & I standing on the beach in San Juan.. (the same one my family and I took a picture on 3 years before)
A boat in the middle of the water that was a result of a hurricane in I think 1982 (? a man on the ferry told us but I don't remember if that was the exact year)
The top of the Ferry with both the American & Puerto Rican flags (: --my heritage.

Married ♥

I can already tell I am going to be bad at the whole 'blogging' thing, but I'm trying I swear! We have officially been married for almost a month-- and it has been amazing (just like it was before.. haha) Puerto Rico was beautiful! We did soo many amazing things and met lots of nice people.. (all of which I will tell about in another post) Basically, life has been good, & I just love my husband way too much.. (:

walking on the beach below where we got married ♥

Our cute little feet-prints with our wedding date (:

the sand ceremony set, one of the vases has a T etched into it & the other has a W... the big heart has DUKE etched into it & below it says "Timothy & Whitney 11-11-11" & on the back are the exact coordinates of where we got married...

The family--- Tim's sister Sarah, my uncle Kelly, my aunt Mary, Me & Tim, my step-mom Sheri, my dad Willy, & Tim's brother Jon.

had to snap a quick picture before the shoes came off... we were on the beach after all! (:

Running from the wave that was coming up, such good memories♥ the best day of my life yet.

Wedding Invite & Engagements

We are only 13 days away from being in Puerto Rico, and 16 days away from being married. (: I couldn't be happier. I love Tim more than words can describe. And after being engaged for 9 months and dating for over two years, I am so ready for the day to be here. 11-11-2011 ♥

Here are some of my favorites of our engagement pictures. My sister took these & did a really good job at making us look good--like she always does.. ( )
