Puerto Rico (post #1) -San Juan

This will be my first 'blog' about our trip to the amaazing Puerto Rico.. this entry will be our San Juan pictures with descriptions about all of them (:

This is a picture of me standing by the Lagoon that our hotel was on.. Our hotel was on that opposite side that you see across the lagoon.
Here is a picture of just one wall of graffiti in San Juan. It was everywhere.. houses, buildings, bridges.. literally EVERYWHERE.. & some of it was actually pretty good unlike anything you will see in Utah County. haha
This is Tim wearing the hat that a guy on the street made--- On our first day in San Juan we went walking all around and happened across this guy who was making this hat, a fruit bowl, and a couple of other things out of Palm Tree leafs. We thought this was awesome so we went up and started talking to him. We found out that his name was Rod, and that he had been in the Navy and was stationed in Puerto Rico and loved it so much that he decided to never leave. After talking to him for a while we decided to buy his fruit bowl because it was so awesome and because he was so interesting.. (well, and because we loved that he never once tried to get us to buy it which is rare for most people when tourists are running amuck) .. then we took a picture of Tim in the awesome hat he made.
This was a tree on the street in San Juan, we thought it was awesome because every layer of bark was a different color--we called them the "Rainbow Trees"..
This is a picture of me on the balcony of our hotel-- "El Canario by the Lagoon" with the Lagoon in the background.
This is the Ferry we were about to take from San Juan to VIEQUES! The "Vieques II"
Me standing on the beach in San Juan with our fruit basket(:
Tim & I standing on the beach in San Juan.. (the same one my family and I took a picture on 3 years before)
A boat in the middle of the water that was a result of a hurricane in I think 1982 (? a man on the ferry told us but I don't remember if that was the exact year)
The top of the Ferry with both the American & Puerto Rican flags (: --my heritage.
